UPDATE – Autumn Wedding Fairs

It’s been a strange few months and even more for those of you trying to plan your wedding. For those of you who have had to rearrange your wedding, our hearts go out to you as we know how upsetting it is having to move something you have planned and looked forward too so much. For those of you who are looking to book a date and start your wedding prepping, we know your frustration!

Our website has increased by 4,200% during Lockdown so we know all you lovely brides and grooms are doing your research online but you must be so ready to meet all those fabulous wedding suppliers face-to-face …

…. and it’s not long to go now!

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to ensure events can go ahead this Autumn. We have already moved the Spring dates to Summer, the Summer dates to Autumn and now we are making the last few tweaks to ensure you get to meet our amazing bunch of exhibitors this year.

So here’s what’s happened ….

The Government is beginning to lift restrictions and we have been given the green light for events from 1st October; however we still don’t know how many visitors will be allowed per venue and the priority for us and the venues are to keep everyone as safe as possible. Therefore, we have moved the September and October wedding fairs back to late October and November to ensure it gives us time to implement the ever-changing guidance given by the Government and to make sure we have all the procedures in place neccesary to accept large number of visitors into the venues.

Here is an update of what is happening for each show:

Southport Wedding Festival, Bliss Hotel – moved from 13th September to Sunday 25th October 2020 and awaiting Government announcement regarding visitor numbers

St George’s Hall – original date 4th October – on hold and awaiting new date in November to be confirmed

Liverpool Town Hall – original 18th October – on hold and awaiting new date in November to be confirmed

Chester Racecourse – 1st November and awaiting Government announcement regarding visitor numbers

As you know, The North West Wedding Show in September will not take place this year and we are moving it straight to the January show which will take plae 30/31 January 2021.

Tickets will go on sale 1st October 2020 and everyone who is signed up to our newsletter wil get an email for priority booking.

We have over 10,000 brides and grooms signed up to our Newsletter database and you will be the first to find out when tickets go on sale for the big show as well as when the ‘free bride or groom’ ticket registration opens…. but be quick as tickets will sell out fast.

To sign up, all you need to do is email hello@blisseventscompany.co.uk and just write ‘Newsletter’ in the subject title and you will be added to the database.

In the meantime, pop over to our Directory page which is full of amazing wedding companies who will help you make your wedding day even more special!
