Join us on Sunday 28th April for the FREE ENTRY Wedding Fair at St George’s Hall, which is not only one of Liverpool’s landmark wedding venues, it is also one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world, providing a dramatic and very beautiful backdrop for your wedding ceremony and reception.
This majestic building is full of rich history and elegance and its grandeur will make your perfect day even more memorable.
St George’s Hall opened in 1854 and is an outstanding expression of the confidence and ambition the Victorians had for the city of Liverpool. The building also boasts many firsts: it is the world’s first commercially air conditioned building and when built, had the largest barrel vaulted ceiling and the largest piped concert organ in the world. Behind the gold leaf and porticoes, the Hall has one of the greatest brick arches in the world and also houses a priceless Minton mosaic floor of over 30,000 tiles.
But perhaps more importantly than all the big numbers, the people of Liverpool love this building; St George’s Hall is truly one of the most iconic venues and no better place to start the new chapter in your life.
The Wedding Fair is open to everyone from 11am to 3pm. Visitors can use the entrance on William Brown Street (opposite the World Museum), after they have viewed the beauty collection of wedding cars on display, and make their way to the breathtaking Grand Hall where you can meet over 50 of the region’s leading wedding suppliers and companies.
There are two catwalk shows throughout the day at 12.00pm and 2.00pm, with live entertainment by The Pedal Tones before each show.
Each couple will receive a free wedding magazine but more importantly, you can meet the wedding companies face-to-face to discuss your plans for your wedding, get inspiration from the latest ideas, colours and styles … and take advantage of the many exclusive show promotions and special offers at the show.
You don’t need a ticket for this event and you don’t need to pre-register … all you need to do is turn up and bring friends, family and children with you as everyone is welcome.
See you there!
