Rikki and Jaime got married on the 1st January 2016 at Eaves Hall, Clitheroe, Lancashire.
Having met just 6 months before proposing, Jaime Sunderland popped the question while they were watching the sunset on a beach in the Maldives. He said: “I wanted to put a ring on Rikki’s finger before she could get away.”
The couple even looked at venues for the wedding whilst on holiday and immediately chose Eaves Hall after visiting a wedding fair there.
Transport to the wedding venue included a Vintage Rolls Royce and Vintage VW Camper Van for the bridesmaids.
The bride, Rikki Michelle Garney, wore a dress by Anna Sorrano from Wed2B and her Grandmother’s veil from 1959, plus a pair of Christian Laboutin Swarovski shoes, given to her the night before the wedding – her dream shoes.
The groom, Jaime Sunderland, wore a Tuxedo with a midnight blue bow tie, waistcoat and cufflinks given to him by the bride, they had two best men identified by midnight blue cummerbund.
Bridemaids were in midnight blue dresses, gold shoes and carried white rose bouquets with additional white flowers in their hair.
The flowers were by Fleurtations in Fulwood, Preston and simple, elegant white roses were chosen for the bride’s bouquet, held with a communion cross.
‘A Little Bit Vintage’ provided a photo booth, props and a wish tree. Jaime Continued:
“We made donations in our guest’s names to the NDCS in honour of our little boy Llewyn who was born deaf and we also made a donation to the Red Light Trauma Centre in honour of Jaime’s brother who they tried to save.”
The bride and groom left the hall as husband and wife to Ant and Dec’s ‘Let’s Get Ready to Rumble,’ and the evening Entertainment came in the form of live Irish band The Whole Shebang .
